Bruce Springsteen-inspired 'Badlands' Art Print Style:Stretched Canvas 'The Universal Want' - aThe story goes that Bruce Springsteen saw the movie poster for Terrance Malick's movie 'Badlands' in a theatre lobby, and was inspired to write this song he hadn't even seen the movie (once he did, he wrote the song 'Nebraska'), but the poster was so pitch perfect for the American themes he was working on, it was all he needed . . . so it was an almost too obvious choice to adapt said famous movie poster to his songwriting . . . the featured lyric is
