Danish Leather and Upholstered Side Chair collection_sale_2023 a motif echoed in incisedDETAILS This unusual, antique Scandinavian chair was fancifully conceived with a high, arched back that features nicely detailed carving in an egg and dart adaptation that is almost floral. The cabriole legs and saltire stretcher, with central pediment, are elaborately hand carved with all over scrolling floral designs. The back is upholstered in an old caramel colored, patterned tooled leather with a newly upholstered seat. DATE 19th century
