Asian Diasporic Zodiac: Fire Ox Archival Print lunar zodiac Globe WeaverThe Fire Ox is a part of my Asian Diasporic Zodiac, in which I reimagine the Zodiac animals as if they were informed by diaspora and the landscapes of Turtle Island North America. This series is inspired by conversations with my Taiwanese mother. The Fire Ox contains yin fire and yin earth, like the controlled prescribed burn of fire that generates new earth. Resilient but also tempestuous, water and winter bring balance for this sign. Made in the
