Simple and refined, we love the twisted border that frames the central stones. The locket opens to reveal a hinged glass partition, indicating this locket probably started it's life as a mourning locket. Victorians would often store a piece of braided hair to remember those gone before as photos were rare and very expensive. It was also possible to store a token, such as a piece of
