Anne Gros Grands Echezeaux 2022 Vosne Romanee A discreet dollop of oak95 98 Points Inside Burgundy, Jasper Morris New at Anne Gros. A fine pink purple colour. The nose is elegance personified but with a suggestion of fruit depth behind. A gorgeous suavity of fruit, fine at the front of the palate and continuing through behind. Little red berries and a faint touch of liquorice. More refined than Bas des Beaumonts (see under Paul Tollot Gros), less detail but more substance than Loachausses. Drink from 2032 2040.
