VL45 Radiohus Pendant Light Industrial the toaster is part ofThe famous Danish functionalist architect Vilhelm Lauritzen designed the VL 45 Radiohus pendant lamp in the late 1930s as part of his Gesamtkunstwerk, the headquarters of Danish Broadcasting (Radiohuset). The building was inaugurated in 1945, shortly after the end of World War II. Lauritzen designed the pendant lamp and all other lighting fixtures for Radiohuset in collaboration with Louis Poulsen. Originally, the pendant lamp was called The Office
