They made Dutch oven trivets that were made for keeping meats off the bottom of the oven pot, and they also made trivets for the table top for service. Then in the latter style, they made lots of cool designs like tree designs or sad iron designs. This #1739 Old Lace version is marked and is in wonderful shape. This is meant for the countertop or dinner table and is perfect to hold
