The Japanese Garden at Tatton Helen Lewis teachers and other school staffThe Japanese Garden at Tatton Park is considered 'one of the finest examples of a Japanese garden in Europe'. It was the result of Alan de Tatton Egerton's visit to the Anglo Japanese exhibition at White City in London in 1910. A major restoration in 2000 restored many of the original features of the garden that had been buried under overgrown vegetation. The year 2011 was marked by centenary celebrations, recognising 100 years since the commissioning
