During this time he visited the Tohono Oodham Nation Reservation and explored the Sonoran desert, known to be the hottest desert in the United States. At the same time, it is also home to more species of flora and fauna than any other desert. This piece speaks to the cyclical nature of life and death, of mortality and landscapes carved by the passage of time.
