The vines are over 50 year old. This wine is aged 18 months for 1 3 in wooden vats and 2 3 in new barrels as well as one year barrels and 'demi muids' (large barrels). It displays pear, quince and ripe citrus fruit flavours. Full bodied and fleshy wine with an elegant minerality.
