SOLD (1940) Label 2 Arthur £85 1970 and look quite charmingArthur is a lovely Merrythought bear made during the period when materials were rationed in the 1940s. He still has his label but it is no longer legible. He has a fair covering of mohair and his bare fabric is marked in places. He has all of his original felt pads that have a few tiny nibble holes on his paws but otherwise have survived well. He has all of his original claw stitching and his original nose and mouth.
