19th c. Rare F.B. Rogers Quadruple-Plated Pitcher art 5” w x 5” hAntique silverplate pitcher, with maker's mark on bottom: 'F. B. Rogers Silver Co. 1883, Taunton Mass, quadruple, 1265' 5h x 5w F. B. Rogers Silver Co., of Taunton, MA was a well known maker of silver and silver plate in the 1800s 1900s. The word quadruple in the stamp indicates it was quadruple plated. This was uncommon after 1900, as most later pieces were only double or triple plated, which is less durable. Signs of patina, consistent with age.
