Orvis Midge Bamboo Fly Rod 7'6" 2/2 #5 8'7" with spool diameter of 2A nice Orvis Midge bamboo fly rod, 7'6", 2 piece, 2 tip, and built for a #5 line. Serial number 78317, built in 1976. Medium action. Impregnated cane done in a three up node pattern. Near mint condition I can find a few signs that this rod has ever been used more than perhaps a time or two. Wrapped in a reddish apricot with chrome guides. Oxidized ferrules that fit together nicely. Ring hook keeper. 6" grip shaped to medium cigar. Aluminum downlocking
