1933 Century of Progress Exposition Medal - Italian Pavilion seat covers The glass Sinclair lens isc. 1933; Chicago World's Fair Italy Pavilion Issue Bronze medal issued for the Century of Progress International Exposition held in Chicago, 1933 34. Obverse depicts two stylized nude male figures, one holding a torch aloft, with the legend "A Century of Progress International Exposition Chicago." Reverse features the Italian Pavilion building beneath a formation of airplanes, inscribed "Italia." National pavilions at the 1933 fair often issued their
