FE Thomas Salmon Rod 9'6" 3/2 #9 8'10" This is the pre-1932 8-pinA nice FE Thomas Browntone fly rod, 9'6" 3 piece, 2 tip built for what I suspect is a #9 line. Medium action. F59 stamped on the pocket cap. 1940's vintage and very good condition for its age. The varnish is in very good condition with a few light bag impressions and chips. Very straight and a good ferrule fit. Ferrules and pocket cap are oxidized. The cane is brown toned. The heavy wire reverse twist snake guides are wrapped brown. The usual set of
