Nowadays it`s part of the collection of the British Museum of London. Swords like these were used by the Greek city states and their colonies at the Mediterranean sea. The xiphos has a blade made of carbon steel and a hilt made of bronze. It is 76 cm long, with a blade of 58 cm long and weighs 1 kg. The sword comes with a wooden scabbard, covered
