Pendulum Monsters that would be sent to the Graveyard from any other location are sent to the Graveyard as normal including Pendulum Monsters detached as Xyz Materials, Pendulum Monster Cards whose activation as a Spell Card is negated, and Pendulum Monsters whose Summon is negated

Authentic MTG cards are surprisingly resilient when bent lightly (dont fold it in half aggressively), and they tend to spring back well
