Yes you have instances where the cards are damaged, and thats really unfortunate and frustrating (especially if customer service is giving you a hard time getting the refund) but when you consider they grade quite literally a million plus cards per month, its down right amazing it happens as little as it does
Pokmon TCG Pocket offers plenty of missions for players to participate in, but not every mission in the game is visible, as several secret missions only reveal themselves once completed
My final suggestion is to hone in on if you want this to be an Aggro deck first, with the option to combo out, or if you want this to primarily be a combo deck with Aggro as a "Plan B" to fall back on
